# Asana

> Connect Asana to your Atako agents — 20 read and 19 write actions.

Let your agents manage work in Asana — create and update tasks, projects, sections, tags and comments on your behalf.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: API key (Personal access token).

  Asana → click your profile photo → Settings → Apps → Manage developer apps (or open app.asana.com/0/developer-console) → Personal access tokens → "Create new token" → name it and copy the token (starts with "1/", shown only once). The token inherits your Asana permissions — no scopes to configure.

| `delete_story` | Delete a comment story created by the connected user. |
| `delete_tag` | Delete a tag (tasks keep their other tags). |
| `delete_task` | Delete a task (moved to trash, recoverable for 30 days in Asana). |
| `remove_project_from_task` | Remove a task from a project (the task itself is kept). |
| `remove_tag_from_task` | Remove a tag from a task. |
| `update_project` | Update fields of an existing project. |
| `update_task` | Update fields of an existing task (name, notes, assignee, dates, completion). |
