# Fireflies.ai

> Connect Fireflies.ai to your Atako agents — 15 read and 14 write actions.

Let your agents work with your Fireflies.ai meeting data — search transcripts, read summaries and action items, ask AskFred, and manage recordings.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: API key.

  Log in at app.fireflies.ai → Integrations → search "Fireflies API" (or open app.fireflies.ai/integrations/custom/fireflies) → copy your API key. The key inherits your Fireflies role permissions — no extra scopes to configure; team-wide queries and some mutations require an admin account.

| `get_analytics` | Fetch team and per-user meeting/conversation analytics for a date range. |
| `get_askfred_thread` | Fetch an AskFred thread by id, including its full message history. |
| `get_bite` | Fetch a soundbite (clip) by id, including captions and media sources. |
| `get_channel` | Fetch a channel by id, including its members. |
| `get_transcript` | Fetch a full transcript by id, including sentences, summary and attendees. |
| `get_user` | Fetch a user profile by id, or the API key owner when no id is given. |
| `list_active_meetings` | List meetings the Fireflies notetaker is currently attending. |
| `list_askfred_threads` | List AskFred conversation threads, optionally filtered by transcript. |
| `list_bites` | List soundbites (clips), filtered by owner, team or transcript. |
| `list_channels` | List channels accessible to the authenticated user. |
| `list_contacts` | List contacts who have participated in meetings with the authenticated user. |
| `list_live_action_items` | List action items captured so far in a live meeting. |
| `list_transcripts` | Search and list meeting transcripts with keyword, date, participant and channel filters. |
| `list_user_groups` | List user groups in the team, optionally only those the caller belongs to. |
| `list_users` | List all users in the Fireflies team. |

| `create_bite` | Create a soundbite (clip) from a time range of a transcript. |
| `create_live_action_item` | Create an action item in a live meeting from a natural-language prompt. |
| `create_live_soundbite` | Create a soundbite from a live meeting using a natural-language prompt. |
| `delete_askfred_thread` | Permanently delete an AskFred thread by id. |
| `delete_transcript` | Permanently delete a transcript by id. |
| `share_meeting` | Share a meeting recording with up to 50 recipients by email. |
| `update_meeting_channel` | Assign one or more meeting transcripts (max 5) to a channel. |
| `update_meeting_privacy` | Change who can access a meeting transcript. |
| `update_meeting_state` | Pause or resume recording for an active meeting. |
| `update_meeting_title` | Rename a meeting transcript (team admin only). |
| `upload_audio` | Submit an audio/video file URL for Fireflies to transcribe. |
