# Gmail

> Connect Gmail to your Atako agents — 10 read and 8 write actions.

Let your agents read, search, label and send email from your Gmail inbox on your behalf.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: OAuth 2.0 — you authorize Atako via Gmail's consent screen; no key to copy.
* **Scopes requested**:
  * `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify`

## Read actions (10)

| Action | Description |

| `get_attachment` | Fetch an attachment body (base64url data) by message and attachment id. |
| `get_draft` | Fetch a single draft by id. |
| `get_message` | Fetch a single message by id (format=full includes headers and body). |
| `get_profile` | Fetch the connected mailbox's profile (email address, message/thread totals). |
| `get_thread` | Fetch a whole conversation thread with its messages. |
| `list_drafts` | List draft emails, optionally filtered by a Gmail query. |
| `list_labels` | List all labels (system and user-created) in the mailbox. |
| `list_messages` | List message ids in the mailbox, optionally filtered by labels. |
| `list_threads` | List conversation threads, optionally filtered by a Gmail query or labels. |
| `search_messages` | Search messages with a Gmail query (e.g. "from:x is:unread newer\_than:7d"). |

## Write actions (8)

| `add_label_to_message` | Add labels to a message (e.g. STARRED, or a custom label id). |
| `create_draft` | Create a draft email without sending it. |
| `create_label` | Create a new user label. |
| `remove_label_from_message` | Remove labels from a message (e.g. UNREAD to mark it as read). |
| `send_draft` | Send an existing draft. |
| `send_email` | Send an email (plain text or HTML) from the connected account. |
| `trash_message` | Move a message to the trash. |
| `untrash_message` | Restore a message from the trash. |
