# Intercom

> Connect Intercom to your Atako agents — 16 read and 17 write actions.

Let your agents manage Intercom contacts, companies, conversations, notes, tags and Help Center articles on your behalf.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: API key (Access token).

  Intercom → Settings → Integrations → Developer Hub → New app → pick your workspace → open the app → Authentication → copy the Access Token. Under Authentication → Edit, grant read/write permissions for Contacts, Companies, Conversations, Tags and Help Center articles.

| `get_admin` | Fetch a single admin (teammate) by id. |
| `get_article` | Fetch a single Help Center article by id. |
| `get_company` | Fetch a single company by its Intercom id. |
| `get_contact` | Fetch a single contact by its Intercom id. |
| `get_conversation` | Fetch a single conversation with all its parts. |
| `list_admins` | List all admins (teammates) in the workspace. |
| `list_articles` | List all Help Center articles, most recently updated first, page-paginated. |
| `list_companies` | List all companies, sorted by last request time, page-paginated. |
| `list_company_contacts` | List the contacts attached to a company. |

| `create_tag` | Create a tag, or rename it if an id is provided. |
| `delete_article` | Permanently delete a Help Center article. |
| `delete_company` | Permanently delete a company. |
| `delete_contact` | Permanently delete a contact. |
| `merge_contacts` | Merge a lead contact into a user contact. |
| `reply_to_conversation` | Reply to a conversation as an admin, with a public comment or an internal note. |
| `tag_contact` | Attach an existing tag to a contact. |
| `tag_conversation` | Attach an existing tag to a conversation. |
| `update_contact` | Update attributes of an existing contact. |
