# Outlook

> Connect Outlook to your Atako agents — 13 read and 13 write actions.

Let your agents read, send and organize your Outlook mail, manage your calendar events and look up your contacts on your behalf.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: OAuth 2.0 — you authorize Atako via Outlook's consent screen; no key to copy.
* **Scopes requested**:
  * `offline_access`
  * `User.Read`
  * `Mail.ReadWrite`
  * `Mail.Send`
  * `Calendars.ReadWrite`
  * `Contacts.Read`

## Read actions (13)

| Action | Description |
| - | - |
| `get_calendar_view` | List event occurrences within a time window (expands recurring events). |
| `get_contact` | Fetch a single contact — names, email addresses, phone numbers. |
| `get_event` | Fetch a single calendar event. |
| `get_me` | Fetch the connected user profile — display name, email address, id. |
| `get_message` | Fetch a single message, including its body. |
| `list_calendars` | List the calendars on the connected account. |
| `list_contacts` | List personal contacts, with optional OData filtering. |
| `list_events` | List events on the default calendar (series masters and single events). |
| `list_folder_messages` | List messages in a mail folder (use well-known names like "inbox" or "sentitems"). |
| `list_mail_folders` | List the mail folders of the mailbox with unread and total counts. |
| `list_message_attachments` | List the attachments of a message (file attachments include base64 contentBytes). |
| `list_messages` | List messages in the mailbox, newest first, with optional OData filtering. |
| `search_messages` | Search messages across the mailbox with a free-text query. |

## Write actions (13)

| `create_contact` | Create a personal contact in the default contacts folder. |
| `create_draft` | Create a draft email in the Drafts folder (send it later with send\_draft). |
| `create_event` | Create an event on the default calendar (dateTime is ISO 8601, e.g. 2026-07-03T14:00:00). |
| `delete_event` | Delete an event (cancels it for attendees if the user is the organizer). |
| `delete_message` | Delete a message (moves it to Deleted Items). |
| `forward_message` | Forward a message to new recipients, optionally with a comment. |
| `move_message` | Move a message to another mail folder. |
| `reply_all_to_message` | Reply to all recipients of a message with a comment. |
| `reply_to_message` | Reply to the sender of a message with a comment. |
| `send_draft` | Send an existing draft message. |
| `send_mail` | Send an email from the connected mailbox. |
| `update_event` | Update fields of an existing event. |
| `update_message` | Update message properties — mark read/unread or set categories. |
