# PostHog

> Connect PostHog to your Atako agents — 26 read and 23 write actions.

Let your agents work with your PostHog analytics — run queries, manage feature flags, insights, dashboards, cohorts, surveys and experiments.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: API key (Personal API key (phx\_...)).
* **Required settings**:
  * **Cloud region** — us for US Cloud, eu for EU Cloud

  PostHog → click your avatar (top right) → Account settings → Personal API keys → Create personal API key. Pick the organization/project, grant only the scopes your agent needs (e.g. query:read, action:write, annotation:write, cohort:write, dashboard:write, insight:write, feature\_flag:write, experiment:write, survey:write, person:write), then copy the key (starts with phx\_) — it is shown only once.

| `get_annotation` | Fetch a single annotation by id. |

| `get_dashboard` | Fetch a single dashboard (including its tiles) by id. |
| `get_early_access_feature` | Fetch a single early access feature by id (UUID). |
| `get_experiment` | Fetch a single experiment by id. |
| `get_feature_flag` | Fetch a single feature flag by numeric id. |
| `get_insight` | Fetch a single insight by numeric id. |

| `create_dashboard` | Create an empty dashboard to pin insights on. |
| `create_early_access_feature` | Create an early access feature users can opt into, optionally linked to a flag. |
| `create_experiment` | Create an A/B test experiment in draft status, backed by a feature flag key. |
| `create_feature_flag` | Create a feature flag with optional release conditions. |
| `create_insight` | Create a saved insight from a query definition (trends, funnel, HogQL...). |
| `create_survey` | Create a survey (created unlaunched; launch it from the PostHog UI or API). |
| `delete_action` | Delete an action (soft delete, as required by the API). |
| `delete_alert` | Permanently delete an alert by id (UUID). |
| `delete_annotation` | Delete an annotation (soft delete, as required by the API). |
| `delete_cohort` | Delete a cohort (soft delete, as required by the API). |
