# Tally

> Connect Tally to your Atako agents — 7 read and 2 write actions.

Let your agents list and manage Tally forms, read submissions and questions, and create or update forms via the Tally API.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: API key.

<Note>
  Go to tally.so → Settings → API keys ([https://tally.so/settings/api-keys](https://tally.so/settings/api-keys)) → Create API key. The API is free for all Tally users. Copy the key (starts with tly-). The key inherits your user permissions.

  See [Tally's documentation](https://developers.tally.so/api-reference/introduction).
</Note>

## Read actions (7)

| Action | Description |
| - | - |
| `get_form` | Retrieve a single form by ID with all its blocks and settings. |
| `get_me` | Retrieve the current authenticated user (id, name, email, subscription plan). Use as a connectivity probe. |
| `get_submission` | Retrieve a specific submission with all its responses and the form questions. |
| `list_form_questions` | List all questions in a form, with their types and titles. |
| `list_form_submissions` | List submissions for a form with pagination. Returns responses grouped by question. Arguments: formId (string, path); page (integer, optional); limit (integer, 1–500, optional); filter (enum "all"\|"completed"\|"partial", optional); afterId (string, optional — get submissions after this ID); startDate (ISO 8601 datetime string, optional); endDate (ISO 8601 datetime string, optional). |
| `list_forms` | List forms with pagination. Returns form IDs, titles, status and creation dates. |
| `list_workspaces` | List the workspaces accessible to the user, with their members and pending invites. |

## Write actions (2)

| Action | Description |
| - | - |
| `create_form` | Create a new form. Arguments: status (string, required — enum "DRAFT"\|"PUBLISHED"); blocks (array of block objects, required — at minimum one FORM\_TITLE block: \[\{ uuid: "unique-id", type: "FORM\_TITLE", groupUuid: "group-id", groupType: "FORM\_TITLE", payload: \{ title: "Form Title" } }]); settings (optional object — form settings); workspaceId (optional string — workspace to create the form in); templateId (optional string — template to base the form on); folderId (optional string — folder to place the form in). |
| `update_form` | Update a form's settings, blocks, or status. Arguments: formId (string, path); status (optional enum "DRAFT"\|"PUBLISHED"); name (optional string — new name for the form); blocks (optional array of block objects — replaces the entire blocks array, so GET the form first and PATCH back the complete set); settings (optional object — updated form settings). Only the fields you send are changed. |

## Permissions

Every action above must be explicitly granted to an agent before it can be used. See [Permissions](/integrations/permissions) for the grant model and [Security](/integrations/security) for how credentials are protected.
