# Toggl Track

> Connect Toggl Track to your Atako agents — 8 read and 6 write actions.

Let your agents track time, manage projects, clients and tags in your Toggl Track workspace.

## Connection

* **Authentication**: API key (API token).

  Track time in Toggl Track → click your avatar (top-right) → Profile → Profile settings → scroll to API Token (bottom of page) → copy the token. The token inherits your account permissions — no scope selection is needed.

## Read actions (8)

| Action | Description |
| - | - |
| `get_current_time_entry` | Get the currently running time entry (null if none is running). |
| `get_me` | Get the authenticated user profile (id, email, default\_workspace\_id). Probe action to verify credentials. |
| `get_project` | Fetch a single project by ID. |
| `list_clients` | List clients in a workspace. |
| `list_projects` | List projects in a workspace. Use active=false to include archived projects. |
| `list_tags` | List tags in a workspace. |
| `list_time_entries` | List your time entries. Filter with start\_date/end\_date (YYYY-MM-DD strings), since/before (Unix timestamps in seconds), or meta=true for workspace/project/tag details. |
| `list_workspaces` | List all workspaces the token can access. |

| `create_client` | Create a client in a workspace. Arguments: name (string). |
| `create_project` | Create a project in a workspace. Arguments: name (string), active (boolean, default true), is\_private (boolean), client\_id (integer as string), color (string), billable (boolean). |
| `create_tag` | Create a tag in a workspace. Arguments: name (string). |
| `create_time_entry` | Create a time entry. Arguments: description (string), start (ISO 8601 string, e.g. "2026-09-22T10:00:00Z"), duration (integer in seconds; -1 = running), project\_id (integer as string), tag\_ids (array of integer strings), billable (boolean), created\_with (string, defaults to "Atako"). workspace\_id is required in both the path and the body. |
| `stop_time_entry` | Stop the currently running time entry in a workspace. |
| `update_time_entry` | Update a time entry. Arguments: description (string), start (ISO 8601 string), duration (integer in seconds), project\_id (integer as string), tag\_ids (array of integer strings), billable (boolean). |
