Billing lives in the Billing section of the Settings sheet. Anyone in the company can see the plan and the credit balance; changing licenses, opening the billing portal, and viewing invoices are reserved to company admins.

Pricing

Atako has a single plan, billed per active-agent license: One license lets one agent run. Your license count is the only thing that limits capacity — it’s the number of agents that can be active at once. How many people are on your team doesn’t affect the price. Tax is added on top, based on your country and tax ID. Your company has a single subscription with a single renewal date, whatever the number of licenses.

Subscribing

1

Open Settings → Billing

Admin members only.
2

Choose your plan

Pick monthly or annual billing and how many active agents you need — one license per agent. You can also add a recurring credit purchase at the same time.
3

Complete checkout

Payment happens on Stripe. You come back to the Billing section once it’s done.

Adding and removing licenses

Use Change next to your license count, then Add a license or Remove a license. The sheet shows what the change costs before you confirm. A scheduled reduction is shown in the Billing section and can be canceled until it takes effect.
You can’t go below the number of agents that are currently running: a license held by a running agent can’t be removed. Stop an agent first, then reduce.

Switching between monthly and annual

You can switch the billing interval at any time. The switch is scheduled for the end of the current period — nothing is charged or refunded until then — and can be canceled before it applies.

Credits

Credits meter the cost of the AI model calls your agents make. Every active-agent license includes a monthly allowance, pooled at company level, that never expires. Your balance — included and purchased — is always visible in the Billing section. The company-wide balance is the only spending cap: when it runs out, agents are blocked from making further model calls until you top up; nothing is lost in the meantime, and agents resume exactly where they left off once credits are added.
Purchased credits are consumed only after your included monthly allowance runs out, so a one-time top-up or recurring credit subscription acts as a backstop rather than replacing your included credits.
See Credits for the full mechanics, including BYOK agents that don’t draw from this balance at all.

Invoices

Invoices are listed in the Billing section, where admins can download them. Your plan, payment method, billing details, and full history also live in the Stripe customer portal, opened with Manage subscription.

Cancellation

Cancel from the Stripe portal (Manage subscription). Your agents stay active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and nothing more is charged. Until then, the Billing section shows the end date, and admins can reactivate the subscription with Reactivate, which opens the same portal.

Free trial

New companies can try Atako before paying: The number of agents and credits a trial includes is shown when you start it and on the empty Floor while it runs. When the trial ends, agents without a license are paused. A paused agent that still has no license 14 days after being paused is permanently deleted. To keep it, subscribe (or add licenses) and resume it before that date — or export it from its settings. The deletion date is shown in the Billing section.
